Megan Konwinski, M.A. CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech Language Pathologist
I'm a Michigan state-licensed SLP, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I graduated from Michigan State University with both a B.A. and M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Interpersonal Communication. I have been an SLP for 8 years with a wide range of experience in schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals and rehab settings, treating both children and adults across the lifespan.

I formed this company to help families recieve affordable speech therapy that increases chances for new skills to be transferred into functional environments. Speech and language skills are vital in both social and educational situations. I aim to provide fun, engaging, and evidence-based techniques into therapy so your child can transfer these skills into daily life.

In addition to being an SLP, I'm a wife and mom to a wonderful little girl who is one year old. I enjoy watching the Detroit Lions play on Sundays in the fall, a good book in the winter, and being outside at the lake, with family, in the summer.
My Approach
I’m passionate about working with families using a strengths-based approach while using evidenced-based therapy techniques. I work with the child and their family to determine what activities their child loves and incorporates those interests into therapy sessions. Using the child’s interests helps build intrinsic motivation, while stretching their strengths, all while meeting the child where they are. These interests are used in in-person sessions in their home and other community based locations. My first step is building a connection with your child and forming a strong relationship.
